- Agreement to Terms. By accessing or using Debatlance Studio’s site and services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- Eligibility. You must be at least 13 years old to use the services. If you are under the age of majority, you represent that you have parent/guardian consent.
- Accounts. Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
- Course Access and License. When you enroll, we grant a limited, non-transferable license to access course materials for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to any time limits stated on course pages.
- Payments and Refunds. Prices are listed in USD. Except where required by law or explicitly stated, payments are non-refundable once a course starts. For self-paced programs, you may request a refund within 7 days if you have completed less than 10% of the content.
- Behavior and Conduct. We promote respectful, inclusive discussion. Harassment, hateful speech, and doxxing are prohibited and may result in removal without refund.
- Intellectual Property. Course content is owned by Debatlance Studio or our instructors. Do not copy, share, or resell materials without written permission.
- Third-Party Services. Payments and communications may use third parties. We are not responsible for their terms or issues outside our control.
- Disclaimers. We do not guarantee particular outcomes such as tournament wins or job offers. Courses are educational resources, and results vary by participant effort.
- Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Debatlance Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- Termination. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the services at any time.
- Governing Law and Dispute Resolution. These Terms are governed by the laws of New York, USA, without regard to conflict of laws. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County.
- Changes. We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified on this page with a revised effective date.
